Welcome to my Travel Rights Blog

I hope all your travels are happy ones but if not, if things have gone wrong, if you have ever suffered from a flight cancellation, or found cockroaches in your holiday apartment, or turned up at your hotel to find it overbooked, then this site is for you. It provides comprehensive information on what your travel rights are and how to assert them.

It is written in ‘Plain English’ for travellers who have no legal knowledge but need assistance in pursuing their rights. For the more technically minded it also includes links to primary sources of law - legislation and case law.

On a lighter note it has links to travel disasters, travel trivia, famous travel quotes and outrageous complaints.

This website is the successor site to two other sites which I created: travellawquarterly.co.uk and travel-rights.co.uk

Currently (October 2023) information from those two sites is being migrated to this site but this has not yet been fully accomplished. In due course those two sites will become dormant and all the information on them, and more, will be merged onto this site. In the meantime if you cannot find what you want on this site feel free to visit the other sites where you might find what you want.
